Forests are the lungs of any ecosystem. Creating fresh, breathable air, the canopies of Madagascar are also home to an incredible primate – wild lemurs. Adapted perfectly to their lush environment, over 100 species of lemur cannot be found anywhere else on Earth. They depend on trees, but Madagascar has lost upwards of 80% of its original forest.
