Gather Round for Some Great Reads

Join us in the Karsten Discovery Centre atrium at the North entrance to listen to great zoo and animal stories. Every Thursday our zoo education volunteers read from a selection of wonderful children's books and share amazing animal artifacts that children can see and touch.


Ages: 3 - 5

Time:  10:30 - 11:00 a.m.

Price:  Free. A voluntary donation of $2 per child is appreciated and will help us in purchasing more books for the storytime program.

April Storytime with the Calgary Public Library

Join the Calgary Public Library at the zoo for story time! Each Tuesday for the month of April the zoo and the Calgary Public Library will be holding story time in the ENMAX Conservatory atrium. For a half hour there will be stories, activities, and biofacts to keep your little ones busy. BONUS! There will be a new theme each week so you will be able to learn more about nature and animals with each story time.

This program is free with admission to the zoo.
