Based on Life of Pi, the award-winning novel by Yann Martel and film by Ang Lee, this program will take you on Pi’s remarkable journey of survival accompanied by Richard Parker, a Bengal Tiger. Using biofactsand book-inspired props, students will explore anthropomorphism, free will, animal training, the value of zoos, and whether a young man and tiger could survive 227 days in a boat. If weather and timingpermit, will include a visit to see our own Amur Tigers go through their enrichment training.
