Simply select your timed ticket online when you purchase your day admission or when you login to your member account. Additionally, you can pick up a timed ticket at the ticket kiosks or windows when you get to the zoo. With your timed ticket you can arrive at Panda Passage to enjoy the habitat with a minimal wait.
Visitors purchasing daily admissions are encouraged to purchase online and add their timed ticket at the same time.

What is a timed ticket?
A timed ticket will save you a space in line to see the giant pandas. With your timed ticket you can arrive at Panda Passage to enjoy the habitat with a minimal wait. This is not a ticket to a show. It is entry to the building only and it does not indicate the amount of time you can stay in the building.
How can I get my timed ticket?
Visitors will be able to get their timed tickets daily online, at the kiosks located in Alberta Plaza, at the Guest Relations windows or on grounds. Timed tickets can be obtained on grounds:
- May and June: weekends only at Panda Passage.
- July and August: daily at the Plan Your Visit booth.
What if timed tickets have sold out?
On busy days, timed tickets may sell out early. You may still visit the pandas with general admission by joining the general queue at Panda Passage if you do not have a time, however you may experience a longer wait time and the zoo cannot guarantee access.
What is the price for timed tickets in addition to the daily admission rate?
There is no cost for timed entry tickets for Panda Passage. If you are purchasing your daily admission tickets online, you can select your timed ticket at the same time. Members can get their timed tickets anytime by logging into their accounts online. You may still visit the pandas with general admission if you choose not to pick a time online, however the zoo cannot guarantee access if you do not pre-select your times.
Will members require a timed ticket?
Inspire and Engage Members have an exclusive viewing time from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. daily. Entry during this time does not require a timed entry ticket. For Members visiting the zoo after 10:00 a.m., please pick your timed ticket by logging in online, visiting Guest Relations or at Panda Passage (weekends only in May and June). Members without a timed ticket after 10 am must enter the general queue at Panda Passage.
When can we select timed tickets as we are looking to start planning our visit?
Visitors are now able to get their timed tickets online, at the kiosks located in Alberta Plaza, and at the Guest Relations windows. Timed tickets will be available on grounds at Panda Passage weekends only in May and June and daily starting in July at Plan Your Visit.
What are the time frames that they can choose?
Timed tickets are issued between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. Please arrive at Panda Passage any time between the times assigned to you on your ticket. You don’t need to check-in in advance at the habitat with your timed ticket.
What if I choose a day but become unavailable to come that day? Can I change my timed ticket to view the Pandas?
