Get ready for a fun-filled adults-only night at the zoo, where you’ll have the chance to visit your favourite animals after hours, grab a delicious bite to eat, and work as a team through a zoo-wide escape game in a wildly unique setting.
Animal prints are encouraged (but not required) for this safari-style adventure with a cryptic twist. You and your team will be faced with hidden clues and clever puzzles that require sharp eyes and quick thinking.
You’ll be challenged to use your wits, think creatively, and work with your team to solve an intricate series of puzzles that bring animal conservation to life.
When: Saturday, May 24th, 2025
Time: First timed ticket entry is from 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.; the last timed ticket entry is from 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The game runs until 9:00 p.m.

Feeling hungry? A delicious dinner special, regular menu items, and plenty of snacks will also be waiting at Kitamba Café to keep you energized for your escape!
Kitamba Café will have the full menu available from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Additional Booking Information
- This is an adults-only experience (18+), valid ID will be required to enter. Guests arriving for this experience with children/infants will not be admitted. No refunds will be provided.
- The zoo remains open to the public until 6:00 p.m. (grounds will be cleared by 7:00 p.m.) as per normal operating hours.
- A cell phone is required. You will need one per team, fully charged, and a data package. You will be completing tasks through your phone. Phone charging stations and WiFi are not available.
- Wild Adventurer Members receive a 10% discount.
- This event is entirely accessible. If you need to rent a wheelchair or powerchair, please contact Guest Relations at (403) 232-9300 at least 24 hours before the event. These services will not be open during the event without a pre-booking.
- Parking is $13 and is not included. Wild Journey members receive free parking when they successfully register with ParkPlus.
- Please note: Although animal print is encouraged, costumes with masks that cover the face are not permitted.
