Teddy Bear Clinic
On Saturday, October 11th, bring your little ones and their favourite plushies to the zoo for some TLC. For just a $5 donation per stuffed toy, our dedicated Animal Health team, educators, and volunteers will help clear up the mystery of visiting the doctor’s office and explain the importance of regular medical care for both animals and people in a fun and informative way – all while supporting a great cause!

Exclusive member-only access: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
General access: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

How to Take Part
To attend the Teddy Bear Clinic, a daily admission ticket is required for non-members.
A $5 donation per stuffed toy is also required to take part in the Teddy Bear Clinic, with all contributions supporting wildlife and conservation efforts.

Teddy Bear Clinic Activities
Each $5 stuffed toy donation includes:
- Stuffed toy intake and triage
- Stitching stations for “patients” who need it
- Health checks
- Custom prescriptions
- Interactions with the zoo’s Animal Care, Health & Welfare team
- An on-site animal ambulance (subject to availability)
Additional Booking Information
- A $5 donation per stuffy is required to participate in Teddy Bear Clinic. Please be sure to bring your proof of donation to the zoo with you.
- Members can access the zoo via their membership and are not required to purchase a daily admission ticket for this event.
- Day admission tickets are required to be purchased by non-members. All proceeds from this event will go towards ongoing animal care and conservation programs at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo.
- Dress for the weather, this event will take place rain, sun or snow
- Wear comfy footwear! The zoo is a big place and you will be walking a large part of it to reach this event.
