In recognition of their generosity, Wildlife Guardians receive special opportunities and experiences that bring them closer to the animals they help protect.
Starting at $600, Wildlife Guardians receive a dual or dual flex membership, guest admission tickets, unlimited admission to ZOOLIGHTS, free tea or coffee with every visit, and much more.
Even better, your Wildlife Guardian contribution is tax deductible up to the fair market value of the benefits you receive, making it a gift that gives back in every way.

Advocate

$1,200 to $3,000 annually
Protector
Get all the benefits of an Advocate, plus four guest admission day tickets and private, guided tours of your zoo!
$3,000 to $6,000 annually
Defender
Get all the benefits of a Protector, plus eight guest day admission tickets and exclusive conservation insider experiences that give you an exclusive look at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo’s conservation programs.
$6,000 and above annually
Champion
Get all the benefits of a Defender, plus ten guest day admission tickets, exclusive zoo insider experiences designed to bring you closer to the animals you love and protect, and twenty Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo tickets donated in your name.

Wildlife Guardians support the zoo’s greatest need fund, directing donations towards areas that need it the most. This includes projects to enhance animal wellbeing, as well as critical conservation efforts.
All Wildlife Guardian donations are tax-deductible for the fair market value of the benefits.

Yes! All Wildlife Guardian donations are eligible for a tax receipt. To see the full tax-deductible amount, visit the Wildlife Guardians page and enter in your desired donation amount.

Donations can be made online or via phone by calling 403-232-7774 with a member of the Development team.
How do I redeem my benefits? How does the free tea or coffee work?
