    Fri, 11/06/2020 - 9:06 am

Update: Our animal buildings have re-opened (with the exception of Panda Passage) while our teams continue to work behind the scenes to get the power fully restored.  Further updates will be provided as we know more.

November 6, 2020 - The Calgary Zoo is currently experiencing a power outage in various areas across the zoo. At this time, the zoo remains open as our back-up generators are functioning. Our facilities team is working with the power company to get power restored. However due to the outage, all animal buildings (Penguin Plunge, Cequel Energy Lodge, African Savannah Building, and the Rainforest Building) are currently closed. We apologize for any inconvenience and will provide further updates as we know more.
