Bear Necessities (K-3)

How can humans help keep bears wild? Join us as we explore the fascinating world of Canada’s three bear species: grizzly bears, black bears, and polar bears. Learn all about bear diets, habitats, and behaviours through games, storytelling, and hands-on investigation of biological artifacts. Along the way, examine how human actions can affect bears in the wild and explore ways we can safely share spaces with wildlife while helping to promote healthy ecosystems  

Location: In a designated zoo classroom September thru March and entirely outdoors April thru June.
