Play spaces at the Calgary Zoo are high touch areas. They are sanitized by our Zoo Crew using an animal and people safe solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. Hydrogen peroxide is recommended by the World Health Organization.

To help keep you and others safe, we ask that you:

  • Clean hands before and after entering play area – sanitizer is in place for your user

  • Practice physical distancing, good hygiene and only play with members of your household or cohort

  • Leave all food and toys (including stuffed animals!) outside the play areas

Be kind. Stay safe. Wash your paws often (and for 20 seconds!)
