Closures & Animal Viewing Impacts:

Zoo Grounds: Last entry to the zoo for guests and members will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6th, to accommodate set up for our Zoo Brew (18+) event. Thank you for your understanding.

Dorothy Harvie Gardens and the ENMAX Conservatory: Both spaces will close early for private events on the following dates:

Thursday, May 29th, last entry at 12:45 p.m.
Friday, May 30th, last entry at 10:45 a.m.

African Savannah: Painting inside and around the African Savannah Building will impact hippo viewing. Hippos will not be viewable on the following dates:

Tuesday, May 20 – Friday, May 23
Monday, May 26 – Friday, May 30
Monday, June 2 – Tuesday, June 3

Our giraffe tower will remain viewable indoors or outdoors (weather permitting).

1+1=4?! Don’t worry, our math is definitely mathing!

We have big news – our newest arrivals, wood bison ‘Keewatin’ and ‘Taiga’, are expecting new arrivals of their own! 🍼 You read that right – both female bison are pregnant.

While we remain cautiously optimistic (as with any pregnancy), if all goes well, we could welcome two bouncing baby bison this spring. Stay tuned for updates!
