Building Closure: Savannah Crossing will be closed to the public on August 4 and 5. Thank you for your understanding.

Early Zoo Closure: Last entry to the zoo will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, to accommodate set up for our Cocktails for Conservation (18+) event, presented by Jayman BUILT. Last entry to Destination Africa will be 3:30 p.m., with the zoo being cleared by 4:30 p.m. Thank you for your understanding.

Animal Viewing Impacts:

PETRONAS Gateway to Asia Malayan Tapir Viewing: ‘Sempurna’ and her female calf ‘Nyawa’ have daily access to either the main indoor habitat or the outdoor habitat from 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. They’ll also have access to their behind-the-scenes space and may choose to spend time there, so viewing isn’t always guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding.

West Gate Closure

Due to significant construction activities in and around Exploration Asia, the zoo’s West Gate will remain closed for the 2025 season and is expected to remain closed until at least 2028/2029. This necessary step supports the safe movement of visitors while we undertake exciting improvements to animal habitats and visitor experiences.

Wild After Hours: Snow Leopards (18+)

September 20 & 27, 2026

Step into the fascinating world of snow leopards at this adults-only event that explores the unique lives of these mysterious animals. Begin your evening with an exclusive, after-hours viewing of our beloved snow leopards in their brand-new habitat in Imagine Asia, then head to Safari Lodge for a delicious four-course meal. Your evening includes a captivating presentation about this incredible species, featuring stories, photos, and videos from the dedicated staff who care for them. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience – get your tickets before they disappear!

Where: Imagine Asia and Safari Lodge

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Schedule: 

  • 3:00 p.m. – Guests are welcome to arrive and start their exploration of the zoo.
  • 4:30 p.m. – The bar in Safari Lodge opens for Wild After Hours guests.
  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Exclusive access to Asian Highlands.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Doors open to Safari Lodge dining room where the welcome drink will be handed out.
  • 6:30 p.m.  – Dinner service and presentation begins.
  • 9:00 p.m. – Evening concludes.

Ticket Price: $130 + GST per person

Additional Booking Information:

  • This is an adults-only experience (18+), valid ID will be required to enter. Guests arriving for this experience with children/infants will not be admitted. No refunds will be provided.
  • Tickets are not sold onsite and must be purchased online in advance. Sale ends at midnight, two days prior to the event.
  • Please pre-order any dietary requests by midnight, two days prior to the event.
  • Guests that wish to be seated with other bookings must add the request in the note field when purchasing their tickets, and ensure both parties are booked for the same date.
  • Please note that our menu items marked as GF are gluten-friendly as we are not a gluten-free facility.
  • Parking is $14 and is not included. Wild Explorer, Wild Adventurer and Wild Guardian members receive free registered parking if they have successfully registered with ParkPlus.
  • Please enter with your tickets at our North Parking Lot and Entrance.
