Get to know some of Canada’s most impressive animals as you wander along the forested pathways of the Canadian Wilds. You’ll see bears splashing in their pond, wolves snoozing in the sun and eagles perched high in the treetops.
Even if you’re a hiker, you’ve probably never had such extraordinary views of cougars, bison, bighorn sheep and mountain goats.
Jihad Shibley Rocky Mountain Aviary reopening
Starting March 12, 2021, we'll be trialing the reopening of the Jihad Shibley Rocky Mountain Aviary in Canadian Wilds. The aviary will be open for a few hours daily to reacquaint the birds with visitors in their space. Our Animal Care team will be keeping a close eye on this process and the comfort level of the birds. Please make sure to read the enter/exit signs and stay on the one-way path to ensure a safe visit to the aviary for yourself and other visitors. Please note that as spring nesting season approaches, the aviary will be in need of closing again to give the birds extra space during this sensitive time. Thank you for your understanding as we ensure the welfare of our avian residents.
